My Words to Live By

What is success? To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; That is to have succeeded. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Almost there!!

The time is drawing near! The editor's deadline for my novel is in January, so I am finishing up the last couple of chapters and preparing the manuscript for a group of test readers. I'm planning to have it finished by Christmas so I can relax and enjoy the holiday with my family! This also means that I will start back blogging on a regular basis in January. Yay!!! I'm very excited about getting back to my devotions, and I have so many ideas for stories and study topics to begin the new year. In addition to the blog, I will also be working on preparing my devotional book for publication while my novel is in production over the next six months. Please be in prayer for me over the next month as I put the finishing touches on my manuscript! Being a Christian fiction novel, its purpose is to relay a Biblical message, not just entertaining readers, so I'm asking you to pray that God will guide my words as I complete the text. Thank you!
